The One and Only

alcohol ink marker on paper | 115 x 150 cm

The artwork consists of two large pieces connected to each other by their backs. I drew it with a black permanent marker without taking the marker away from the paper. Each piece was made from only one line to represent how the number of possible attempts to enhance one’s body is limited as each person has one face with one skull. The work was not supposed to be proportional as it was created to represent how effortless making a mistake is contrasted to how hard it is to fix it.
